Joann Jasper

Joann Jasper, 82, Clifton Court, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at her home of natural causes.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Cedar Falls, Iowa, she was born May 22, 1941, the daughter of the late Willard Meier and the late Alice (Schatzberg) Meier.

Joann was a Registered Nurse at St. Thomas Medical Center and at Glacier National Park. She was a member of the Silver Snickers group at the YMCA and a member of Concord Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis Gunnel, and her second husband, Paul Jasper.

Survivors include her daughters, Dawn (Art) Reigel, Hopkinsville, KY, Deborah Jasper, Fairview, TN; her sons, David (Anne) Meier, Berlin, Germany, Richard (Judy) Jasper, Oak Grove, KY, and Daniel Jasper, Rugby, TN; her brothers, Russell Meier, Copperas Cove, TX, John Meier, Shell Rock, IA; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
