John W. Walker, 86, School House #5 Road., Christian County, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Russellville, KY from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021 at Lamb Funeral Home with Dr. Joshua Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, KY, he was born May 24, 1935, the son of the late Leo Charlie Walker and the late Eunice Hazel (Wagner) Walker.

John was a carrier for the Kentucky New Era and a member of Kelly Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura E. Snyder Walker; his daughter, Rita Powell; his step-daughter, Mary Johnson; his step-son, James McCallister; his brothers, Radford Walker, LC Walker, and James Walker; his sisters, Nola Joiner and Barbara Pangelinan.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Walker, Chicago, IL; his son, Kevin Johnson, Hopkinsville, KY; his step-daughter, Tammy Tatum Sisk, Hopkinsville, KY; his step-son, Raymond Johnson of Kentucky; his sisters, Mary Ebling, Christian County, KY, Nancy Jones, Hopkinsville, KY; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
