John “Papa Jack” Bradbury, Jr., 68, Lonnie Walker Highway, Herndon, KY passed away Friday, February 6, 2026 at his home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Lamb Funeral Home with full military honors.
Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the funeral home.
A native of Reading, PA, he was born May 1, 1957, the son of the late John James Bradbury, Sr. and the late Celia (Godek) Bradbury.
John was a Green Beret and retired from the United States Army. He also was a police officer with Hopkinsville Police Department for 10 years. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Ducks Unlimited and The American Legion
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, James Bradbury.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Judi Bradbury, Herndon, KY; his son, Will (Wendy) Myers, Christian County, KY; his brother, Jerry Bradbury, Virginia Beach, VA; his sister, Maureen Ford, Virginia Beach, VA.
