Obituary
Joseph B. "Joe" Morris, 82, Country Club Lane, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center, Nashville, TN of natural causes.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born February 12, 1941, the son of the late Bob T. Morris and the late Wiladeane (Patterson) Morris.
Joe served in the United States Marines, where he was a Corporal. He graduated from Pembroke High School and was a diesel mechanic with Fleet Truck Service. He was a member of the Eagles.
Survivors include his sons, Marty Morris and Bryan (Jamie) Morris, both of Hopkinsville, KY, Adam Morris, Clarksville, TN; his daughters, Julie (Steve) Dunning, Christian County, KY, Jo (Jesse) Penny, Cadiz, KY, and Ashley (Nick) Calhoun, Hopkinsville, KY; his brothers, Bob Morris, Knoxville, TN and Pat Morris, Hopkinsville, KY; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, 5817 Ft. Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
