Julie Plummer Word

Julie Plummer Word, 36, Billy Goat Hill Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Boone officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. 

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to  8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, KY, she was born August 4, 1985, the daughter of Barbara Michele (Plummer) and Scott Thompson and daughter of  Shane Thomas. 

Julie was owner of Blissful Cupcakes and also worked for Holiday Burgers. She was a graduate from Christian County High School, Class of 2003. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mackenzie Brooke Word, and her brother, Dakota Dean Thompson.

Survivors include her parents, Scott and Barbara Thompson, Hopkinsville, KY; her father, Shane Thomas, of Mississippi; her children, Kenson Word and Addisyn Word, of the home; her brother, Shane Thomas, of Mississippi; her sister, Kisha Gibbs, Cadiz, KY; her paternal grandmother, Brenda Thompson; and her maternal grandmother, Judy Plummer.
