Kay (Moore) Shepherd

Kay Moore Shepherd, 74, Irish Circle, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at her home of natural causes.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home. A private family graveside will follow in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born August 5, 1950, the daughter of the late Gilbert Moore and the late Virginia (Tresch) Moore. 

Kay was a clerk at Christian County Courthouse. She also previously worked at Save More Drugs. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Garry Shepherd; and her brother, Mack Moore. 

Survivors include her sons, Benjamin (Brooke) Shepherd, Prosper, TX, Clint Shepherd, Hopkinsville, KY; her sister, Martha Frasier, Nashville,TN; and her grandson, Lucas Shepherd.
