Keith Cornelius

Keith Cornelius, 97, Crofton-Dawson Road, Crofton, KY passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2026 at Lamb Funeral Home with Bradley Cornelius officiating. Burial will follow in Hamby Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Friday, May 22, 2026 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, KY, he was born June 25, 1928, the son of the late Louie Tilden Cornelius and the late Lida Violia (P’Pool) Cornelius.

Keith was a farmer and insurance salesman for Jefferson and Commonwealth Insurance Companies. He was a member of New Palestine Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Willa Jean Cansler Cornelius, his brother, Carl Cornelius and his grandson, Jeff Pryor.

Survivors include his son, Jimmy (Faye) Cornelius, Crofton, KY; his daughters, Karen Doss, Gracey, KY, Kim (Hardy) Morris, Hermitage, TN; his grandchildren, Clay (Ashley) Cornelius, Amy (Chris) Maternowski, Jay (Jenna) Doss, Jill Judkins, Bill Johnson, Jr., Bailey (Cody) Carpenter, Andrew (Lori) Morris, Susan (Joe) Wintruba; his great-grandchildren, Allie (Tucker) Duplessis, Alec Maternowski, Ethan Cornelius, Ella Cornelius, Riley Doss, Kameron Doss, Jayden Doss, Willa Judkins, Myla Judkins, Hannah Walker, Clark Carpenter, A.J. Morris, Ruby Morris, Abby Morris, Laz Wintruba; and his great-great-grandchild, Isla Jean Doss.
