Kenneth B. Jones

Kenneth B. Jones, 85, Blane Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. David Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Cerulean Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the funeral home.

A native of Todd County, KY, he was born February 14, 1936, the son of the late Henry Jones and the late Annie Mae (Hightower) Jones.

Kenneth was a barber at City Barbershop for 50 years. Also, he worked as an auctioneer and real estate broker. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Second Baptist Church. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Selton Jones, Clarence Jones, and LJ Jones; his sisters, Imogene Jones and Virginia Harned. 

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Janice Jones, Hopkinsville, KY; his son, David (Julie) Jones, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Jennifer (Rich) Herstek, Pleasant View, TN, Jeri (Keith) Kramer, Murray, KY, Sheri (Tyler) Hancock, Cerulean, KY; his sister, Thelma Nash, Hopkinsville, KY; and 8 grandchildren.
