Kenneth Earl Lamb, 78, Madisonville Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022 at New Covenant of Grace Church with Rev. Larry Dale Combs officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born December 14, 1943, the son of the late William Boinott Lamb and the late Lula Frances (Elkins) Lamb.
Kenneth graduated from Christian County High School in 1961 and attended Bethel Baptist College. He worked at Lamb Funeral Home for 15 years and previously at Clearview Tire and Auto Service. Kenneth served as an ordained universal ministries minister and as a District 2 Deputy Constable in Christian County for 18 years. He was a member of New Covenant of Grace, where he was Minister of Joy. He would always piddle around or tinker with anything he could. Kenneth loved fishing, racing cars, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles William Lamb, Edwin Wayne "Eddie” Lamb, Larry Boinott Lamb, and Maurice James "Jimmy" Lamb; his sisters, Carolyn Jean Rogers and Marilyn Joyce Orten.
Survivors include his sons, Gary (Denise) Lamb, Smyrna, TN, Brewster (Lisa) Lamb, Kansas City, KS; his daughter, Stacey (Randall) Tidwell, Hendersonville, TN; his brother, Dorris Lee (Tammy) Lamb, Hopkinsville, KY; his sister, Patricia Elaine Carr, Savannah, GA; his companion, Fran Lousig’nont, Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Mayla Lamb and Amber Rhea Lamb; and his great-grandchildren, Jaylen Rhea, Addison Danielle, and Avery Leighann.
