Kitty Carter, 89, Deason Lane, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at her home of natural causes.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. David Harrison officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Christian County, KY, she was born October 14, 1933, the daughter of the late John Howard Carter and the late Stella (Lile) Carter.
Kitty was a social worker at Western State Hospital and a member of Concord Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Wayne Sugg; her brothers, William Garnett Carter and Charles Douglas Carter.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Sue Leeper and Tami (Gary) Parks, both of Hopkinsville, KY; her brother, Lewis Corbin Carter, Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren, Bailey Ward and Matthew Leeper; and her great-grandchild, Skye Leeper.
