Larry Ashby Obituary
Larry L. Ashby, 69, Princeton Road, Hopkinsville, died Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at his home of natural causes.
Services will be at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Ashby officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the funeral home.
A native of Russellville, Kentucky, he was born November 29, 1949, the son of the late James L. Ashby and the late Ina F. Anderson Ashby.
He was a police officer with Hopkinsville Police Department for 20 years. He also worked at Western State Hospital. He was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Ashby; his brother, Rev. Bobby (Ann) Ashby, Hopkinsville; his sister, Brenda Gray, Hopkinsville.
