Larry D. Johns

Larry Johns, 64, Shaw-Ovil Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at his home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home with John Lumpkin officiating. Burial will follow in Family Farm Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2023 at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born December 13, 1958, the son of the late Victor Darrell Johns and the late Leora (Francis) Johns.

Larry was an electrician for Jennie Stuart Medical Center for 23 years. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Johns; and his granddaughter, Sara-Beth Floyd.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Teresa Futrell Johns, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Kristal “Krisi” Johns and Karen (Randy) Perry, both of Christian County, KY; his brothers, Don (Lea) Johns, Christian County, KY, DeWayne (Kristie) Johns, Moscow, TN; his sister, Brenda (Artie) Bridges, Sylvestor, GA; his grandchildren, Brianna Perry, Alyssa Perry, Matthew Floyd, Caitlin Perry, Ryan Floyd; and his great-grandchild, Rowan Perry.
