Larry A. Ross, 73, Greenwood Drive, Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026 at his daughter’s house in Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Cadillac, MI, he was born July 2, 1952, the son of the late Theodore Hugh Ross and the late Betty Louise (Moore) Ross.
Larry retired from the United States Army and was a courier at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. He was a member of the VFW Post 1913, American Legion, Moose Lodge, Elks Club, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughters, Katherine Leigh Armstrong and Kayla Lynn Armstrong.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Ross, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Zaneta (Kenneth) Armstrong and Tanya (Jeff) Noland, both of Hopkinsville, KY; his step-daughter, Jennifer Winders, Lacy, KY; his step-son, Nic (Courtney) Boggess, of Florida; his sisters, Peggy (Austin) Roe, Harrison, MI, Leslia (Bobby) James, Temple, TX, Tammy (Gary Henderson) Spivey, Killeen, TX; his grandchildren, Joshua (Brittney) Noland, Kody (Megan) Armstrong, Kyle Armstrong, Kaitlyn (Tyler) Owens, and Emily Noland; his step-grandchildren, Paul Grace, Hailey Winders, John Winders, Luke Winders, Cadence Boggess, and Nicholas Boggess; and 7 great-grandchildren.
