Latane “LG” Holland

Latane G. "L.G." Holland, 86, Talbert Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, died Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Skyline Medical Center, Nashville, TN of natural causes. 

An Eagle service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2600 Fort Campbell Blvd., Hopkinsville, KY. Lamb Funeral Home will be assisting with arrangements.

A native of Buchanan, VA, he was born January 16, 1934, the son of the late Oscar Latane Holland and the late Ollie Graham (Hall) Holland.

He was the owner and operator of the Iv’ry Tower Inn in Hopkinsville, KY for eighteen years. He also owned and operated the Long Branch. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Elks Lodge, and the VFW Post 1913.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter Holland and Lynwood Holland; and his sisters, Connie Fringer and Martha Loraine Kidd.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Joy Holland, Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Corey (Diane) Holland, Centerville, VA; his daughters, Mary Cathryn (Jonathan Good) Holland, Hopkinsville, KY, and Teresa Ann (B.D.) Ray, Cookeville, TN; his brother, Sidney Holland, Fairfax, VA; and his sister, Mildred Bishop, Charlotte, NC.
