Linda Carmona

Linda Carmona, 57, Apache Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN of natural causes.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Jude Okeoma officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home. The Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m. with Deacon Tim Barnes at the funeral home.

A native of Inverness, FL, she was born April 6, 1965, the daughter of the late James Smith and the late Sondra (Ball) Smith. 

Linda was a bilingual translator and a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Phillip Smith; her sisters, Phyllis Smith, Sandy Smith and Ruffina Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jose Carmona, Hopkinsville, KY; her sons, Luis (Nicole) Carmona, Battle Creek, MI, Jose (Kendall) Carmona, Jr., Cleveland, OH; her daughters, Evangelina (Brandon) Delf, Portage, MI, Christiana (Sabino) Mejia, Battle Creek, MI; her sister, Cathy Tyler, New Port Richey, FL; and 8 grandchildren.
