Loretta Keown

Loretta Keown, 82, Hunters Lane, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Christian Health Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton, KY.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2025 at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born November 27, 1943, the daughter of the late Milburn Dorris and the late Lorell (Blake) Wilson.

Loretta was a teller at Pennyrile Citizens Bank & Trust. She was a member of Henderson Memorial Baptist Church and attended New Work Fellowship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Patrick Meighen III and J.G. Keown; and her step-father, Luther “Junior” Wilson.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Meighen, Kadoka, SD; her half-sister, Joetta Dorris Ayers, Sharon Grove, KY; her grandchildren, Rachael Gilkey, Clarksville, TN and Shannon Gilkey, Hopkinsville, KY; her great-grandchildren, Noah Benbrook, Riley Crunk, Dylan Benbrook, and Delaney Gilkey.
