Louise Askew

Louise Askew, 91, Herndon-Oak Grove Rd., Herndon, KY, died Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Bradford Heights Health & Rehab of natural causes.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Flat Lick Cemetery with Raymond Spurlin officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2020 at Lamb Funeral Home.

A native of Stewart County, TN, she was born April 28, 1929, the daughter of the late Jim Outland and the late Cozie Futrell Outland.

She was a homemaker and a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilda "Pat" Askew; her daughter, Martha Moore; and her sister, Eilene Boren.

Survivors include her sons, W.D. (Linda D.) Askew, Jr., Purcell, OK, Paul Askew, Hopkinsville, KY; her daughter, Betty Wallace, Lexington, KY; her sisters, Hilda Futrell, Paducah, KY, and Mary Sholar, Trigg County, KY; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
