Mack Brake

Mack Brake, 83, Oxford Street, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Christian Health Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the funeral home.

A native of Todd County, KY, he was born October 8, 1941, the son of the late Alvie Brake and Thelma (Tabb) Brake Knight.

Mack served in the National Guard. He was a Kentucky State Trooper and retired after 26 years of service. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and Pennyrile Classic Car Club.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Carolyn Brake.

Survivors include his son, Daniel (Cari) Brake, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Tammie (Martin) Weight, Grapevine, TX; his mother, Thelma Brake Knight, Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Dakota Brake, Michael Stapleton, Caroline Stapleton, Myles Runyan, Hannah Williams, Hailey Williams, Chandler Weight, and Hannah Weight.
