Marilyn J. West

Marilyn J. West, 71, Greenville Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2026 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Henderson Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Friday, July 10, 2026 at the funeral home.

A native of Princeton, KY, she was born March 15, 1955, the daughter of the late Willard Holland and the late Dora (McCraken) Holland.

Marilyn was a registered nurse at Dr. Simpson’s office. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan "Scooter" West and her sister, Linda Joyce.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, David "Butch" West, Hopkinsville, KY; her son, David (Cindy) West, Houston, TX; her sister, Judy Ezell, Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren, Savannah West, Sean West, Sydney Benningfield, Karlee West, Mila West, and Ella West.
