Mary Damron

Mary Damron, 92, Catalpa Drive, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at her home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, KY, she was born January 25, 1930, the daughter of the late Edward Hickey and the late Ethel (Meacham) Hickey.

Mary worked as a quality controller at International Shoe Factory and also as an aid at Christian Health Center. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Webb Damron; her brother, Pete Hickey; her sisters, Madeline McMasters, Norene Caldarelli, Helen Poole, and Marge Abram.

Survivors include her son, Dan (Helen) Damron, Hopkinsville, KY; her brothers, Bill Hickey and Tom Hickey, both of Hopkinsville, KY; her sister, Janice Gerbo of Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Keith (Sharon) Damron, Tampa, FL, Beth (Brian) Petty, Franklin, TN; her step-grandson, Brian (Robbi Anne) Richardson, Cadiz, KY; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
