Mary Louise Higgins

Mary Louise Higgins, 79, East Nashville Street, Pembroke, KY passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital, Madisonville, KY of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born April 9, 1943, the daughter of the late Lawrence Williams and the late Rosie (Hopson) Williams.

Mary loved her fur coats and was self employed, where she sold fur apparel. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Higgins; her brother, Lamar Williams; and her sister, Maggie Alston.

Survivors include her sons, Freddie Higgins, Jr., Pembroke, KY, Chris Higgins, Owensboro, KY; her brothers, Paul Williams, Philadelphia, PA, Lloyd Williams, Toledo, OH, Ralph Williams, Brooklyn, NY, and Lonnie Williams, Hopkinsville, KY; her sisters, Linda Haney, Toledo, OH, Doris Berry, Nashville, TN, and Sandra Williams, Hopkinsville, KY; and her grandson, Hayden Higgins.
