Mary Alice Schamp

Mary Alice Schamp, 90, Riverbend Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Christian Health Center of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. John Voss officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. 

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, KY, she was born September 15, 1931, the daughter of the late Leslie Burford Kemp and the late Almedie (Tabor) Kemp.

Mary Alice was a cashier at Drury Brother's Grocery Store and a member of Eagle Way Church of Christ. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Schamp, and her brother, Charles L. Kemp.

Survivors include her nephews, George Kemp and Chuck Kemp; and her niece, Elaine Clark.
