Mary Belle Boren

Mary Belle Boren, 83, Old Madisonville Road, died Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Dawson Springs Health and Rehab of natural causes.

A private family graveside will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Christian County, she was born February 27, 1937, the daughter of the late Joel Alder and the late Onie Boyd Alder.

She was a clerk for Montgomery Ward and a waitress for Tungets Restaurant. She was a member at Kelly Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, H.C. Boren; and her brothers, Joe Earl Alder, Wayne Alder, and Roy Alder.

Survivors include her son, Billy Joe (Sharon) Boren, Christian County; her daughter, Rita (Andrew) Huling, Christian County; her brothers, Ray Alder and Gayle Alder, both of Christian County; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
