Mattie (Dyer) Hite

Mattie Dyer Hite, 75, Sivley Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at her home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, KY, she was born October 2, 1946, the daughter of the late Eithel Dyer and the late Florence (Pyle) Rogers.

Mattie was a registered nurse at Western State Hospital. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Alfred Dyer, IJ Dyer, Howard Fuller and Carl King; her sisters, Christine Bryant, Minnie Brewster and Janice K. Dyer.

Survivors include her daughter, Bridgette Wells, Hopkinsville, KY; her son, James T. (Lisa) Parker, Hopkinsville, KY; her brothers, Rufus Dyer and Billy Dyer, both of Crofton, KY; her brother-in-law, Larry Brewster; and her grandchildren, Landen Wells and Brookelynn Wells.
