Max Beeckman Obituary

Max Beeckman, 94, Millbrooke Drive, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at his home of natural causes.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2020 at Lamb Funeral Home with Father Richard Meredith officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the funeral home.

A native of Nice, France, he was born November 28, 1925, the son of the late August Beeckman and the late Marie Jeanne Beeckman.

He was a retired Staff Sergeant in the United States Army, where he served during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Annelise Beeckman.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 66 years, Marie Beeckman, Hopkinsville, Kentucky; his sons, Marc (Lynn) Beeckman, Trigg County, Kentucky, Guy (Julie) Beeckman, Union County, Kentucky, and Eric (Terri) Beeckman, Jackson, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
