O’Nell Cook

O’Nell Cook, 99, Jeffersonville, IN, formerly of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Hillcrest Village in Jeffersonville, IN of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Lamb Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the funeral home.

A native of Greenville, KY, she was born July 17, 1921, the daughter of the late Earl Williams and the late Ida (Boyd) Martin.

She was a teller for First City Bank and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was a member of various Bowling Leagues.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Buddy” Earl Cook; her son, William Earl Cook; her sister, Luthell Meacham; and her stepfather, Lethel Martin.

Survivors include her son, Billy (Sandra) Cook, Clarksville, TN; her daughter, Gwen Lentz, Jeffersonville, IN; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
