Pansy D. Amerson, 70, Riverbend Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky, Bowling Green, KY of natural causes.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the service hour on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
A native of Teachey, North Carolina, she was born January 9, 1951, the daughter of the late, Snyder Claude Dempsey and the late Mazie Lee (Blizzard) Dempsey.
She was a retired teacher from Ft. Campbell School System. She was very active in her church as a youth leader, Sunday School teacher, and with Titus 2. She also served on the Hopkinsville Human Relations Commission and was a tutor at Holiday Elementary School.
Survivors include her husband, Roy J. Amerson, Hopkinsville, KY; her son, Ryan (Nicole) Amerson, Hopkinsville, KY; her daughter, Carrie (Logan) Davis, Nicholasville, KY; her brothers, Herbert Dempsey, NC, Harry Dempsey, AR, and Jerry Dempsey, NC; her sisters, Claudia Chew, NC, and Judy Ferrin, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Landon Davis, Halle Davis, Hayden Davis, Reese Amerson, and Bailey Amerson.
