Patty Swart

Patty Swart, 89, Sterling Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Lamb Funeral Home with Bradley Cornelius officiating. Cremation will follow with interment in Fair Plains Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI. 

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the service hour on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the funeral home.

A native of Grand Rapids, MI, she was born May 17, 1931, the daughter of the late Martin Poley and the late Elizabeth (Kuipers) Poley.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Casino Club and Women’s Auxiliary in Grand Rapids, MI.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Swart; a son that passed in infancy; her brother, Edward Poley.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Charles) Worsham, Gracey, KY; her sister, Elizabeth Harpst, Belmont, MI; her granddaughter, Stacy (Ricky) Powell, Herndon, KY; her sister-in-law, Barbara Poley, Grand Rapids, MI; and her special friends, Joan Richards and Vickie Anderson.
