Peggy T. Groom

Peggy T. Groom, 82, Lafayette Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 at her home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Flat Lick Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Nick Ashley officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Lick Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the church.

A native of Christian County, KY, she was born July 16, 1943, the daughter of the late William Carlos Tinsley and the late Hermer (Dunn) Tinsley.

Peggy was a homemaker and a member of Flat Lick Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Groom.

Survivors include her son, Randall Groom, Christian County, KY; her daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Robbins, Clarksville, TN; her grandchildren, Emily (Philip) Long, Mark Robbins, and Olivia Groom; and her great-grandchild, Wesley Long.
