Richard H. Volk

Richard H. Volk, 66, Monte Carlo Court, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his home of natural causes.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2022 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Saint Paul, MN, he was born June 13, 1956, the son of the late Edmund David Volk and the late Mary Frances (Rorie) Volk.

Richard retired from the United States Air Force and worked in fuel management for Sitka. He was an avid NASCAR and Kentucky Wildcat fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edmund D. Volk, Jr.

Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Stewart, Mechanicsville, VA; his brother, Roger T. Volk, Hopkinsville, KY; his sister, Jenise K. Volk, Hopkinsville, KY; and 2 grandchildren.
