Retired Master Sergeant Richard "Rich" Neil Conley, 76, Sands Drive, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, died Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Saint Thomas West in Nashville, Tennessee of natural causes.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2020 at Lamb Funeral Home with Bro. McKinnley Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the funeral home.
A native of Portsmouth, Ohio, he was born October 5, 1943, the son of the late Ferrell B. Conley and the late Naomi R. (Miller) Geisler.
He served in the United States Army for 22 years and also worked 20 years Civil Service. He was a member at Western Hills Golf Course since 1982.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dewey Conley; and his sisters, Billie Stanley and Ruth Kinder.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Sue Conley, Hopkinsville, KY; his sons, Edward L. Conley, Hopkinsville, KY, Richard Andrew (Tricia) Conley, Clarksville, TN; his daughter, Sharon (James) Moyle, Manahawkin, NJ; his brothers, Herbert Conley, Cincinnati, OH, Terrance Conley, Blackstone, VA; his sisters, Martha Craft, South Port, OH, Garnet Graham, Chilicothe, OH, and Miranda Parker, Gahanna, OH; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
