Robert Owen Noel

Robert Owen Noel, 92, Warfield Blvd., Clarksville, TN passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at his home of natural causes.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with Bro. Don Mathis officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Trigg County, KY, he was born May 9, 1931, the son of the late Ulyess Wade Noel and the late Mary (Bryant) Noel.

Robert served in the United States Army as Military Police in Korea. He was a truck driver and dispatcher for Thomas Industries. He also was a bus driver for Christian County Public School System. Robert was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was a member of Warriors Camping Club and was the last surviving member of the Christian County Sheriff's Posse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, WC "Tra" Fowler III.

Survivors include his wife, Murriel Freeman-Noel, Clarksville, TN; his daughters, Debra (T.F.) Fowler, Jeannie Beck, both of Hopkinsville, KY, Vicki (Dale) Groves, Trigg County, KY, Donna Hall, Dickson, TN; his son, Bill Freeman, Cunningham, TN; his sisters; Mary Robertson, Springhill, TN and Barbara Anne Miller, Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
