Robert Allen Towery

Robert Allen Towery, 78, South Virginia Street, died Monday, January 20, 2020 at Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN of natural causes.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2020 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. David Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born December 10, 1941, the son of the late Robert S. Towery and the late Mary Allen Towery.

He was owner/operator of Towery's Refinishing and Towery's Fish Market. He was a member of Second Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Lee Towery; his brother, James Henry Towery; and his sister, Mary Ann Towery.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joyce Towery, Hopkinsville; his son, Pat (Nickie) Towery, Hopkinsville; and 4 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church building fund, 720 W 7th Street, Hopkinsville, KY 42240; or to Faith Family Church, in care of missionaries in Honduras, 495 Hugh Hunter Rd., Oak Grove, KY 42262.
