Robert "Bobby" Johnson

Robert “Bobby" Johnson, 71, Ovil Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, TN of natural causes.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2026 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour on Monday, April 6, 2026 at the church.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born June 25, 1954, the son of the late James "Jim" Edward Johnson and the late Iola (Henderson) Johnson.

Bobby served in the United States Navy and was a mechanic at Baldwin's Truck & Tractor. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Derrick Lane Johnson.

Survivors include his son, Wesley Allen (Brittney Newcom) Johnson Livingston, Hopkinsville, KY; his sisters, Sharon Flynn, Christian County, KY, Donna Higgins, Barton, FL; his grandchildren, Brycen Newcom and Braylen Newcom; and his beloved dogs, Sassy Girl and Gizmo.
