Roger L Rector

Roger L. Rector, 63, Lowell Way, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his home in Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday , September 24, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Melvin Felts officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at the funeral home.

A native of Henderson, KY, he was born March 20, 1962, the son of the late Elmo Wesley Rector and the late Hilda (Whitt) Rector.

Roger served in the United States National Guard. He worked as a tool and dye maker at Martinrea for 24 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Rector.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Carolyn Rector, Hopkinsville, KY; his sons, Roger Hunnicutt, Owensboro, KY, Thomas (Ashleigh Usher) Rector, Gilbertsville, KY, Jonathan Gillard, Bowling Green, KY, and Eric Gillard, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Jessica Rector, Owensboro, KY, Kendel (Dylan) Baize, Henderson, KY, and Karrah (Kyle) Christopher, Wellsville, NY; his brother, Larry Rector, Orlando, FL; his sister, Donna Yates, Corydon, KY; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
