Rolf Pitsch, 78, North Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Christian Health Center of natural causes.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Delaino Blazer officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Magdeburg, Germany, he was born August 29, 1942, the son of the late Siegfried Wolfgang Ernstklaws Pitsch and the late Gertrud Lucie (Elisaer) Pitsch.
Rolf served in the United States Army. He was a math and substitute teacher for Christian County Public Schools. He also was a security guard at Jennie Stuart Medical Center and attended Hopkinsville Foursquare.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ernie Pitsch and Volker Pitsch.
Survivors include his brother, Siegfried Pitsch of New York; his sisters, Adele (Melvin) Newell of Florida, Beate Cosentino of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
