Ronald “Ronnie” F. Abbott

Ronald “Ronnie” F. Abbott, 70, Greenville Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at his home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Chaplain Reed Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Monday, August 11, 2025 at the funeral home.

A native of Louisville, KY, he was born November 24, 1954, the son of the late Farris Lee Abbott and the late Thelma (Duke) Abbott.

Ronnie worked as an equipment operator for the City of Hopkinsville for 28 years. 

Survivors include his wife, Clara Embrey Abbott, Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Robert Farris (Kim) Abbott, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Tiffany Embrey Sanders, Hopkinsville, KY; his brothers, David Abbott and Johnny Abbott, both of Hopkinsville, KY; his sister, Nancy Duke, Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Marquise Mason, Tyler Abbott, and Isaiah Murphy; his great-grandchildren, Evan Lopez, Ky’Leigh Powell, Katherine Powell, Isabella Mason, Emilia Murphy, and Ka’ziah Murphy.
