Ronnie Gene Drury

Ronnie “Ron” Gene Drury, 64, of Dogwood-Kelly Road, died at 5:22 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lamb Funeral Home with David Gilkey II, officiating.

Burial will be at Boyd Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, he was born Sept. 10, 1954, the son of the late Flavel and Audrey Edwards Drury.

He was a farmer, and also worked at Meritor. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Rose.

Survivors include his son, Ronnie Gene Drury Jr., Hopkinsville; his daughters, Samantha (James) Melton, Dawson Springs, and Stephanie (Blake) Holmes, Lafayette, Tenn.; his brother, Tommy (Sharon) Drury, Christian County; his sisters, Betty Alexander and Nancy Gilkey, both of Christian County; and four grandchildren.
