SFC Kurtis Kaylor, 65, Thompsonville Lane, Oak Grove, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2021 at Lamb Funeral Home with Carla Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
A native of Jeffersonville, IN, he was born on January, 28, 1956, the son of the late Karl Kenneth Kaylor and the late Anna Pauline (Marsee) Kaylor.
He served in the United States Army as a Sergeant First Class, during Korea, Germany, and Operation Freedom. He also was a brick and block mason. He was a member of Bridge of Hope Fellowship and American Legion Post 233.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Cornett, that was K.I.A during Vietnam and Karl Kenneth Kaylor Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Kaylor, Oak Grove, KY; his sons; Keith (Danielle) Kaylor, Missouri, Michael (Amanda) Kaylor, Campbellsville, KY; his daughter, Crystal (Chris) Willis, Oak Grove, KY; his brothers, Jimmy Cornett and Danny Cornett both of Muhlenberg County, KY; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
