Sandra (Carpenter) Haverkost

Sandra Carpenter Haverkost, 82, Charter Senior Living, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at her home of natural causes.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2023 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with John Strode officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to  5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home. 

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born December 17, 1940, the daughter of the late Euin Carpenter and the late Addie Belle (Wilkins) Carpenter.

Sandra worked at Hopkinsville Federal Bank, where she was Vice President of Tellers. She was a member of the Western Hills Women Golf Club and Millbrooke Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Jud" Haverkost, and her sister, Ila Myers.

Survivors include her sons, Todd (Leanne) Haverkost, Fulshear, TX, Robert (Sandy) Moss, Jackson, TN; her daughter, Jackie Logan, Christian County, KY; and her sister, Donna Stewart, La Fayette, AL; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
