Sharon Austin, 80, Prosperity Lane, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at her home of natural causes.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Royal Oak, MI, she was born August 20, 1942, the daughter of the late James Eugene Armstrong and the late Lily Mae (Studt) Armstrong.
Sharon worked in production at Faultless Manufacturing. She was a school bus driver and worked at Skyway Drive Inn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Hugh Marshall Austin; her sons, Marshall Austin and Tony Austin; her brothers, James Eugene Armstrong, Jr., Jack Arthur Armstrong, William Harold Armstrong, Clarence Wayne Armstrong, Samuel Houston Armstrong; and her sister, Sandra Jean Jennings.
Survivors include her sons, Gary (Luci) Austin and Chris (Jennifer) Austin, both of Hopkinsville, KY; her daughter, Marsha "Sissy" (Wayne) Johnson, Hopkinsville, KY; her sister, Josephine (Kenneth) Armstrong Smith, Nortonville, KY; 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
