Shirley Bridges Kirkman Stepp, 86, Kenwood Drive, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Tennessee State Veterans Home, Clarksville, TN of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the funeral home.
A native of Trigg County, KY, she was born April 21, 1938, the daughter of the late Ernest Lee Bridges and the late Virginia Irene (Terrell) Bridges.
Shirley was a data clerk at Black & Decker for 19 years and also volunteered at Pennyroyal Hospice. She was a member of Henderson Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dorris Kirkman; and her second husband, James S. Stepp.
Survivors include her sons, Lee (Andrea) Kirkman, Hixson, TN, Brad (Lori) Kirkman, Hopkinsville, KY; her sister, Brenda Joyce Bridges, Washington, D.C.; her grandchildren, Emma Kirkman, Cooper Kirkman, Allie Kirkman, and Lindsey Kirkman.
