Shirley Walton

Shirley Walton (90), passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Christian Health Center, Hopkinsville KY of natural causes.

A private graveside service was held on Friday January 5, 2024 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Lamb Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Shirley was born in Michigan. She married Huston Walton, and had 2 sons. Shirley & Huston moved to Hopkinsville in 2003 (to escape the long, cold Michigan winters). Shirley made many friends in Hoptown, loved her house on Pyle Lane & driving around in her red Toyota Corolla (with her Tom Tom GPS, to keep her from getting lost). She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Huston Walton (2004); and her son, Dennis (1999). Survivors include her son, Donald (Mary) Walton, of Colorado, and her sister-in-law Betsy Walton.
