Sophia Logan

Sophia Logan, 78, Shadowood Trail, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024 at her home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the funeral home.

A native of Akron, OH, she was born September 16, 1946, the daughter of the late Frank Dunn and the late Suzanne (Marek) Dunn.

Sophia was a registered nurse and director of nursing at Outwood Rescare. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a member of the Homemakers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morton “Butch” Logan II; her sister, Margaret Carneal; and her brother-in-law, Dan Carneal.

Survivors include her sons, Bucky (Angela) Logan III, Hopkinsville, KY, Frank (Sabrina) Logan, Newport News, VA, and William “Rusty” Logan, of Kazakhstan; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
