Steve Dunning

Steve Dunning, 68, Antioch Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at his home of natural causes.

A celebration of life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2026 at Lamb Funeral Home. A private family burial will follow in Antioch Community Cemetery.

A native of Christian County, KY, he was born August 25, 1957, the son of the late Athel Irvin Dunning and the late Lorene (Dulin) Dunning.

Steve was a cattleman and owner/operator of Water Witch Pools. He was of the Baptist faith. Steve served on the Western Kentucky State Fair Board and was also a member of National Spa and Pool Institute of America. He was named president of Kentucky Cattleman’s Association at both the local and state levels.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Dunning, Mike Dunning, and Billy Dunning.

Survivors include his wife, Julie Morris Dunning, Christian County, KY; his sister-in-law, Carol Dunning, of Illinois; and his nephews, John Alan Dunning and Jeff Dunning, both of Illinois.
