Steve Fryrear, 77, Deerwood Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
There will be no immediate services. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Louisville, KY, he was born December 15, 1942, the son of the late Alvin Bertnum Fryrear and the late Hazel (Payton) Fryrear.
He was a cable repairman for AT&T Telephone Company and served in the United States Army. He was a Mason for over 50 years as well as a member of Jaycees, Dream Factory, and Telephone Pioneers of America.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Stephen Wayne Fryrear, Jr. and Andrew Wayne Fryrear; and his brother, Jeffrey Craig Fryrear.
Survivors include his wife, Shari Fryrear, Hopkinsville, KY; his stepdaughter, LeiAndra (Ken) Haggard, Hopkinsville, KY; his stepson, James Harold Newton, Nashville, TN; 4 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
