Sylvia D. Murray

Sylvia D. Murray, 85, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Western State Nursing Facility of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Humphries officiating. Burial will follow in Fuller Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the funeral home.

A native of Todd County, KY, she was born May 23, 1938, the daughter of the late Claude Justice Bryant and the late Gracie Ion (Blake) Bryant.

Sylvia was a homemaker and a member of Chosen Stone Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Earl Murray; her daughter, Vickie Murray; her brothers, Joe Bryant and Steve Bryant; and her sister, Bonnie Day.

Survivors include her daughters, Connie (Joe) Overton, Crofton, KY, Joann Murray and Judy (Ed) Alder, both of Hopkinsville, KY; her brothers, Lee Bryant, Hopkinsville, KY, John Bryant, North Judson, IN; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
