Thelma Brake Knight, 101, Sterling Drive, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Christian Health Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2026 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Monday, February 16, 2026 at the funeral home.
A native of Todd County, KY, she was born September 19, 1924, the daughter of the late Holbert Tabb and the late Annie (Ford) Tabb.
Thelma was a nurse aide at Western State Hospital for 30 years. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Ray Knight; her son and daughter-in-law, Mack and Carolyn Brake; and her brother, Dennis Tabb.
Survivors include her step-daughters, Cathy (Marvin) Denison, Hopkinsville, KY, Brenda (Keith) Robinson, Manchester, TN; her sister, Louise Turner, Clifty, KY; her grandchildren, Tammie (Martin) Stapleton Weight, Daniel (Cari) Brake; her step-grandchildren, Erin (Marc) Namie, Adam Denison and Anthony Manning, Sherry Key, Vickie (Bill) Hills, Tony (Brandi) Shanklin; her great-grandchildren; Dakota Brake, Caroline Stapleton, and Gary Michael Stapleton; and several step-great-grandchildren.
