Troy Goode

Troy Goode, 50, Greenville Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating. Burial will follow in New Barren Springs Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Hillcrest Baptist Church.

A native of Christian County, KY, he was born, February 24, 1971, the son of Jimmy and Carolyn Goode.

Troy was pastor of Lafayette Baptist Church. He was the Agriculture teacher at Hopkinsville High School for 27 years. He was a minister for Kentucky Junior Rodeo, Christian County Cowboy Church, and Wranglers Camp. He also was an FFA advisor and a member of the Cattlemen’s Association. 

Survivors include his wife, Anna T. Goode, Hopkinsville, KY; his children, Micah Goode, Maggie Goode, and Mollie Goode, all of the home; his parents, Jimmy and Carolyn Goode, Hopkinsville, KY; and his brother, Tim (Leslie) Goode, Hopkinsville, KY.
