Tyrone Dossett

Tyrone Dossett, 65, Shiloh Church Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Croft officiating and Clayton Miller and Joe Wilson assisting. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2024 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, KY, he was born July 12, 1959, the son of the late James Keith “Jim” Dossett and Shirley Mae  (Winders) Dossett.

Tyrone retired from Western State Hospital after 35 years and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He loved his family, being in victory lane, and all things racing. Tyrone was a member of the Rod Knockers Club.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Erwin Dossett, Hopkinsville, KY; his sons, JT Dossett and Dustin (Alyssa) Erwin, both of Hopkinsville, KY; his mother, Shirley Winders Dossett, Hopkinsville, KY; his grandsons, Bentley Dossett and Camden Erwin; and his godchildren, Jeriod Stokes and Crystal McLaughlin.
